CMP REPORT 2018-2019

SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAMME:

The school Readiness Programme was conducted in the month of June, for the I Standard students for a period of 2 weeks.During this programme, the students were given adequate exposure to the school environment on a daily basis.

COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH:

The communicative English programme was initiated in the vidyalaya at large and also in the primary section in particular. The primary teachers, both the permanent and the contractual teachers were engaged during the communicative English held on all Saturdays.Reading cards were read by the various groups and the main points were discussed and later the exercises were worked out within the group.

PERIODIC TEST: As per the guidelines of Back to Basics, Periodic tests were to be conducted in the primary section- Exam Dept had decided to conduct the same during the first week of August 2017. The examination schedule has already been circulated among the students.The Half yearly exam is also over and the results have been declared .

BACK TO BASIC : Sessions were conducted for all the Prmary Teachers after the school hours to appraise them of guidance laid down in Back to Basic.The teachers were engaged in topics such as Need for B2B , NCERT learning Indicators , Lesson Plan formats , Competencies in various Scholastic subjects, Identification of Late Bloomers , etc. The teachers have started following guidelines at the practical level.

CLASS OBSERVATION: Classroom Observation of the Primary teachers are being carried out as per the monthly schedule. And necessary guidance are being given to the PRTS to faithfully follow the guidelines laid down for the Back to Basics Projects.

FIELD TRIPS AND EXCURSIONS: The educational trips for various Primary Classes are being planned during the month of January . Various places of educational value are being included in the schedule to enrich the students experience.

WORKSHOPS: The Primary teachers have attended various workshops pertaining to the different subjects at the cluster and regional level workshops in various subjects were conducted at the Vidyalaya level .The teachers have also attended the SBSB workshop at the Vidyalaya level ,conducted by the trained teachers of the Vidyalaya.

CLASS LIBRARY: A reasonable student- book ratio is maintained in the Primary Section. A hanging library is maintained in the Primary Section. A hanging library is maintained in every class for the ready availability of childrens’ magazines. Story books are distributed to the children during their Library Periods. And an issue register is being maintained for every section.

TLM RECORDS: Registers pertaining to the procurement , issue and utilization of TLM materials are maintained in the Primary Section. An amount of RS 2000 is drawn every month towards purchase of TLM materials and the records are maintained by the Resource Room 1\c.

CCA: A schedule has been prepared for the conduct of CCA throughout the year. Presently compeitions have been conducted for various CCA items and results of various CCA items have been systematically recorded.

GRAND PARENT’S DAY:

It is proposed to conduct the Grandparent’s Day in the month of November in a befitting manner.
